The Pittcon Difference: Philanthropy
It’s been a well-known fact for nearly 75 years: Pittcon is the premier annual conference and exposition on laboratory science. But did you know that proceeds from each and every Pittcon are donated directly back into the science community?

Whether you’re an attendee or an exhibitor, over 90% of Pittcon’s net revenue profits go on to fund science education, continuing education, and outreach. That’s over 90 cents of every dollar directed to:

Helping children of all ages discover the wonders of science

Support and recognize the educators preparing today’s students to solve tomorrow’s most difficult scientific challenges

Update laboratory capabilities for students, from kindergarten through university

Continually educate scientists, from laboratory assistant to principal investigator and beyond

When it’s all said and done, Pittcon donates approximately one million dollars annually to support various science outreach activities, including scholarships and internships, educator and scientific achievement awards, equipment grants, research grants, and grants to public science centers, libraries, and museums.

Let’s pause, dear reader, to think about all of this…Every dollar spent to attend Pittcon, every attendee, every exhibitor for nearly 75 years, has had a direct, positive, exponential return on the greater scientific community.

Thank you for helping us achieve our mission by choosing to participate in Pittcon. Your choice to attend Pittcon directly enriches science.
